Treatment may also be beneficial as a supplemental treatment for smoking cessation, pain control, weight management and fertility.

Imbalances within the body are detected by Listening for symptoms, Looking for signs (presented on the tongue, complexion and physical structure), and Feeling the state of the energy (in the pulse, abdomen and channels).

Each person is a unique individual and treated accordingly.  Therefore the amount of treatment needed varies.  This may depend on whether or not your symptoms are acute or chronic in nature, your lifestyle, attitude and involvement in your own healing process.

As stated before, AOMS believes that it is the integration of Oriental medicine with Western Medicine that forms a more balanced form of health care.  With certain symptoms you may be asked to consult your western medical doctor.
